Share Your Facts - Become a Featured Author
If you know a lot about a certain subject, and you'd like to share your knowledge with others through this website, we invite you to submit a fact sheet on your chosen topic. We are constantly adding new facts to the website, so we welcome contributions.
Fact Sheet Guidelines
In order to protect the quality of information on this website, we have a few guidelines for fact sheets. When you send us a fact sheet please ensure the following:
- Fact sheets must be educational and objective in nature. In other words, just the facts. No preaching, promoting or propagandizing allowed. See an example
- At the time of submission, fact sheets must be original (not published elsewhere on the Web). After you submit your fact sheet to 21Facts.com, you may publish it anywhere else you like.
- Fact sheets must fit into one of the main categories of this website. The main categories are listed on the directory page and also in the green menu at the top of the site.
- Fact sheets must include the following components — an introductory paragraph, a list of 21 facts on the chosen subject, a concluding paragraph, a list of any references you used, and your author's note. Here's a good example
- We reserve the right to edit all fact sheets submitted to correct spelling, grammar, etc. But it sure is nice when we don't have to.
Benefits of Sharing Your Facts
We all like to see our work published live on the Web. It's human nature. That's one of the benefits you'll enjoy when you submit a fact sheet to our website. Here are some more:
- We will give you full credit for the material you submit. This will include a byline with your name, your photo (if provided), and a brief author's note about you!
- If you have a website or blog related to your fact sheet, we will link to that site from your author's note.
- You can position yourself as an expert in your field, or in a particular subject matter.
- You can link to your fact sheet as a credential / testament to your expertise.
- You are sharing your knowledge and passion about a certain subject, as well as educating others on that topic. For many people, that's all the reward they need.
How to Submit Your Facts
First, make sure a fact sheet does not already exist for your chosen topic. You can send your fact sheet to us in one of two ways. You can either (A) email it as a Microsoft Word attachment to brandon@21facts.com or (B) use the submission form provided below.
